Project Description:

South lakes Housing’s mandate is to create additional larger and better quality affordable homes across the Southern Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. This is being achieved through the use of a range of mixed tenure options including shared ownership, rent to buy, affordable rent and self build options, thereby supporting sustainable mixed communities with options for families to grow.

IDPartnership have submitted a planning application for 24 affordable homes and one self-build housing plot on a site located to the periphery of Kendal on behalf of South Lakes Housing. Planning permission was gained in October 2020, with construction to begin early next year.
