Project Description:

IDPartnership have secured planning approval for an exemplar 307-unit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), which includes an 83-bed care home, at Middlemore in Daventry, Northamptonshire. The CCRC will provide housing for elderly people in a variety of care options including ‘assisted living’, ‘extra care’ or ‘very sheltered housing’ and ‘close care’. The proposals feature an innovative and pioneering extra care facility designed in a ‘core and cluster’ format which will deliver a centre of excellence in retirement housing for the elderly close to Daventry Town Centre, whilst benefiting from a breath-taking lakeside location.

The layout and design for the Middlemore site, seeks to create an attractive landscape-led campus style environment providing opportunities for interaction between residents and the wider community. A vibrant, and lively hotel-like ambiance will welcome residents, family and friends to this outstanding landscaped campus, at the same time providing a safe and homely environment to residents.
