Project Description:

IDPartnership have been working closely with Bernicia Group to deliver this 60-unit later living development for over 55s. The scheme comprises 48 two bedroom apartments, with eight, two-bedroom bungalows, and four, two-bed Tyneside apartments. The proposal strives to deliver high quality and socially-driven accommodation with strong links to Cramlington Town Centre and railway station.

The design rational seeks to implement a contemporary design aesthetic at a residential scale by utilising a series of staggered roof lines, dormer windows, simple yet crisp brick detailing and a two tone colour palette, creating a refined design statement for Bernicia’s newest development.

The proposals gained planning approval in in spring 2020, with construction now well underway. The expected completion for the scheme is Q3 2021.
