Project Description:

 An international headquarters building for Sage Group Ltd at Newcastle Great Park. The scheme is based on a collection of office pavilions linked to a central atrium space. The project will be phased with provision for over 1300 staff in the first phase.

Designed to create a landmark headquarters building for the Sage Group, the aspiration is that the building reflects the status and international standing of the client onto a single campus. The building is essentially a series of office pavilions arranged around a central atrium. The layout of the building on site has been configured to address a major axis through the Great North Park masterplan.

The scheme forms the end point of the main avenue through the local centre which has generated the buildings public façade towards the south east-west and the alignment of the T-shaped atrium. The atrium has been designed to form the communal hub of the building. It provides covered circulation space between pavilions, a social core with opportunities for break out spaces, concessions areas
