Project Description:

IDPartnership were appointed by Your Homes Newcastle and Newcastle City Council’s Fairer Housing Unit to design an assisted living development to form part of the new local centre for Scotswood alongside other health, leisure and retail uses.

The proposal consist if 45 one and two bedroom apartments specifically designed for over 55s’ as well as 9 general needs bungalows. The apartment block is to be set over three and four storeys in a split level arrangement due to the topography of the site, with bungalows located at the highest part of the site. Construction is currently underway with completion expected by Summer 2021.
