Project Description:

South lakes Housing’s mandate is to create additional larger and better quality affordable homes across the Southern Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. This is being achieved through the use of a range of mixed tenure options including shared ownership, rent to buy, affordable rent and self build options, thereby supporting sustainable mixed communities with options for families to grow.

As part of this development strategy IDPartnership were asked to produce design proposals for this site in Burton-in-Kendal, which has resulted in the creation of 18 new build houses, 6 new bungalows and 4 apartments. This scheme has now been submitted for planning consideration.
