Project Description:

Situated on the former site of Holywell Engineering mine workings, IDPartnership have worked closely with the client to develop housing proposals for this brownfield site. The scheme consists of 46 dwellings, and includes the conversion of a Grade II listed cottage and two locally designated heritage assets (a smaller stone-built cottage and a former mining office). The proposals seek to utilise the high quality landscape setting, looking to retain a large coppice of trees that add to the character of the site and wider area. A detailed planning application and listed building consent application were submitted to north Tyneside Council in autumn 2018
