Project Description:

IDPartnership were commissioned by Kingsmead Developments (who are managing the project on behalf of Blagdon Estate) to design and submit planning applications for a mixed-use retail and leisure development. The development, which is located adjacent to the seafront, is to be delivered in two phases with the floor area totalling 1458m2.

The recently regenerated Blyth Links promenade which runs parallel to the site is an invaluable local asset. The layout and design therefore seek to create an attractive high quality landscape-led development which complements the coastal location.

The nearby attractions make the area an ideal setting for leisure and commercial developments, with excellent links to the town centre and the wider area. The northern area of the application site will provide flexible retail units which have been designed to allow a range of uses.
